All participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses to attend the meeting.


Security Information

PLEASE NOTE: Visitors must show one (1) form of identification (a government-issued photo ID; driver's license, passport, green card, etc.) to gain access to the conference center. Please stop by the security desk located in the lobby after entering the building. Participants do not need to sign in each day. Please remember to keep the visitor's pass that will be given on the first day of arrival.


Transportation to the Meeting Facility

The meeting will take place at the Neuroscience Conference Center located on the lower level of the Neuroscience Center Building. The building is 5.26 miles (12 minutes) from the Hyatt Regency Bethesda Hotel.

Metro/Taxicab: Participants are encouraged to use the Metro from the hotel (Bethesda Station) to the conference center (White Flint Metro Station). The White Flint Station is two stops from the Bethesda Station on the Red Line. The conference center is a 15-minute walk from the Metro.

When exiting the station, face Rockville Pike. Cross the street on Marinelli Road and continue past a McDonalds and the Bethesda North Marriott hotel. Turn right on Executive Boulevard, and continue past the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and across Old Georgetown Road. 6001 Executive Boulevard is the second building on the right, set back from the road.

Alternately, taxicabs are available in front of the Hyatt Regency Bethesda Hotel.

Parking: The maximum daily rate parking at the Neuroscience Center is $7.00.


Driving Directions to the Neuroscience Conference Center

From Baltimore and all points north of Washington, DC: Take I-95 south toward Washington, DC. At I-495 (Capitol Beltway), head west toward Silver Spring/Bethesda. From the Beltway (I-495), take Exit 34, which is Rt. 355 (Wisconsin Ave./Rockville Pike) and head north toward Rockville. Drive approximately 2.4 miles and turn left onto Old Georgetown Road. At the second light, turn right onto Executive Boulevard. The building is on your immediate right, and visitor parking is at the second driveway entrance.

From Eastern and Southern Maryland and all points southeast of Washington, DC: At I-495 (Capitol Beltway), head north towards Baltimore then west toward Silver Spring/Bethesda. From the Beltway (I-495), take Exit 34, which is Rt. 355 (Wisconsin Ave./Rockville Pike) and head north toward Rockville. Drive approximately 2.4 miles and turn left onto Old Georgetown Road. At the second light, turn right onto Executive Boulevard. The building is on your immediate right, and visitor parking is at the second driveway entrance.

From Virginia and all points south of Washington, DC: Take I-95 north towards Washington DC. At I-495 (Capitol Beltway), head west toward Northern Virginia. From the Beltway (I-495), take (I-270) and head north toward Rockville. Stay to the right and bear off to the "Connector/Distributor" lanes. Exit at Montrose Road (east). Drive approximately 1.5 miles and turn right onto Rockville Pike. Turn right at the second traffic light onto Old Georgetown Road. At the second light, turn right onto Executive Boulevard. The building is on your immediate right, and visitor parking is at the second driveway entrance.
