All visitors will be asked to submit to a security screening upon entering the building. Visitors will be required to show one (1) form of identification (a government-issued photo ID, U.S. driver's license, passport, green card, etc.). Attendees will be escorted from the security area to the registration desk each morning.
Shuttle From Hotel: A complimentary shuttle is being provided to transport attendees from the Gaithersburg Marriott Washingtonian Center hotel to the NCI campus. The shuttle schedule will be provided closer to the meeting date.
Metrorail/Subway: The NCI Shady Grove Campus is accessible by Metrorail on the Red Line at the Shady Grove Metro Station. Please visit the Metrorail website to access a map of the Metrorail system.
Parking: Visitors should park in the multilevel parking garage located across from the 9609 Medical Center Drive building. Parking is complimentary. Parking tickets must be validated before exiting the building.

A room block has been established at the following nearby hotel for the nights of June 5 and 6, and a limited number on June 7 for those unable to depart on the last day of the workshop. Please contact the hotel directly to reserve your room. You are responsible for all hotel costs and will be asked to provide a credit card to cover expenses.

The closest airport to hotel is the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA); however, Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) also serve the Washington, DC area.

Amtrak is an alternate travel option for those traveling on the East Coast.
Travel Time to Hotel from Airports and Amtrak
Travel time is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Washington Dulles International Airport, Baltimore-Washington International Airport, and Washington Union Station. Travel time is dependent upon traffic. Travelers may choose to take a taxi or car service such as Uber or Lyft to and from the airport/train station.

Please note that food and beverages will NOT be provided during the workshop; attendees will be responsible for getting their own meals at their own cost.
The NCI building cafeteria will be open on Thursday, June 6. However, it is closed on Friday, June 7. Therefore, attendees are encouraged to obtain breakfast, coffee, and other refreshments from the hotel or from one of the eateries that are adjacent to the building: Passion Bakery Café, Subway, or Freshii.
Lunch Ordering Instructions
For lunch, it is recommended that participants pre-order boxed lunches from The Bean Bag Catering and Deli Co. for delivery to the NCI Shady Grove campus.
You can start placing orders on Monday, May 6, and the deadline is Friday, May 31. Please note that orders cannot be placed after this deadline.
